T A K E 4 - Live at Club Buzz and Studio Re-mixes - © 2002 - [U]niverse [o]f [D]iscourse

This collection of pieces originated from a great idea by a|A - perform live and record that piece, then e-mail all members of the group each other's source files and re-work the BMX files in the relative safety of our home studios.

The live recording occurred at Club Buzz 19th February, after a long period of inactivity and it was refreshing to see we could still coordinate 4 'puters and come up with something listenable (but sooo different from all the other pieces). We thank Club Buzz for providing us with new speakers (they sound really hoopy) and wOnKo's Minidisk was used to capture the result.

We think we might have finally pushed the limits of what this recording technology is capable of and will probably arrange to play directly into a mixer in the next session, instead of pointing our speakers at the mike and hoping the stereo fields work out ok.
