This is Inayoshi Hidehisa’s Maple Leaf chopstick holder but I rather think it works (at this scale at least) much better as a bookmark.

I used some gold delux washi and coaxed the red to outline the leaf (sort of like those autumn colours we never see in Queensland) on a gold ground.

A relatively dense and complex manipulation to get the leaf nodes but in the end a charming little model, folded from one of my Tanteidan magazines.
