…continuing the fishy theme, this is Ronald Koh’s Oranda Goldfish:
A lovely plump little fellow, I am sure I have had these at one time or another – round body, abundance of thin fins and round head.
Mutant hybridism is interesting, you can see, as we explore the goldfish species that breeders have emphasised form over function.
The body here is really dense, and a nice tummy tuck gives a pot belly which is lovely.
I like the form of this fish, and the folding sequence provides stem material for subsequent designs (indeed this fish contains folding sequences from the Wakin)
