Counter culture I love little zippy cars:
Our current car is old, but a lovely tiny Mitsubishi Colt (that looks a LOT like this model), and … eventually … we will need to replace it but, annoyingly Mitsubishi only make HUGE battleships now – not everyone wants a battleship!!!
Browsing the current Tanteidan magazine, as I am wont to do, I came across a lovely little sequence designed by Atsunori Muraki called “subcompact car”. I think sub-compact is industry speak for “the crumple zone is where the passengers sit”
This was a fun fold, and the final model is really paper efficient. It reminds me a little of Jason Ku’s “Convertible” which is also fun. Clever use of colour change, easy win landmarks – nice.
Another model that goes “straight to the pool room”
